The Las Vegas Highland Games hosts an incredibly diverse selection of the best bagpipe bands from across the United States, in addition to amazingly competitive solo competitions.

2026 Bands

Grade 2 Pipe Band

Wasatch & District Pipe Band

Established in 2004, WDPB is a competitive and performing Bagpipe Band based out of Bountiful, Utah. Wearing the MacTavish tartan, our band performs all over Northern Utah, and competes in the Western US, Canada, the United Kingdom, and as attended the World Pipe Band Championships held in Glasgow Scotland.

Grade 3 Pipe Bands

Kevin R. Blandford Memorial Pipe Band

Established in 1974, the Blandford Bands is a Bagpipe and Drum band located in the Inland Empire area of California, for 50 years and counting.

Pasadena Scots Pipe Band

Affectionately known as the Pasadena Scots, our band is dedicated to the study and performance of Scottish bagpipe and drum music. We proudly wear the California State tartan.

Phoenix Pipe Band

Founded in 1958, the Phoenix Pipe Band stands as a symbol of tradition, excellence, and musical artistry. With a rich history rooted in the time-honored tradition of Scottish bagpiping and drumming, the band has evolved into a dynamic and accomplished musical ensemble. The Band supports both an entry-level grade 5 band and our top-tier competition band in grade 3, attracting members across the Western United States and Canada to join the ranks.

Grade 4 Pipe Bands

Clan Gordon Pipe Band

The Clan Gordon Pipe Band was formed In 1955 when a group of Scottish immigrants and Americans pooled their experience, and, with the sponsorship of Clan Gordon, formed the Clan Gordon Pipe Band in Tacoma, Washington. Our purpose is to bring the music of the Highland Bagpipe to the Pacific Northwest

Cameron Highlanders

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Cameron Highlanders Pipe Band of San Diego. The bandwas founded in 1946 by John Rosenberger. His son, Charlie, is the president of the organization and still plays with the band. The Camerons have competed at Highland Games in the Western U.S. regularly since 1952 . They have also competed across the country and at the World Championships in Scotland. The Camerons are the only pipe band today of the original bands that formed the Pacific Coast Pipe Band Association which is now WUSPBA. In addition to competitions, the Camerons participate in many local events in the San Diego area. For information on the band go to www.camerons.org.

Glendale Pipes & Drums

Founded in 2002, the Glendale Pipes and Drums was originally an adjunct to the Glendale, AZ Police Department’s honor guard. Membership grew quickly, and a civilian wing of the band took root. It
has since performed at countless private, corporate, and civic functions while still enjoying a working relationship with the Glendale Police Honor Guard.

Glendora High School Pipe Band

 The Glendora High School Pipe Band is a competitive grade four band based in the Eastern foothills of Los Angeles County, California. The band, comprised entirely of high school students, competes throughout the western United States, taking top prizes regularly.

Lander Pipe Band

Established in 2001 in the wake of the 9/11 attacks to honor those who died. Since 2016, the band has performed for numerous community, veteran, first responder and military events. The band is a community pipe band that strives to provide the highest quality music possible. To achieve this, the band also competes in band and solo contests and participates on workshops to continually improve their music.

University of California - Riverside Pipe Band

Formed in 2000, the University of California Riverside Pipe Band's mission is to further the tradition, history, and culture associated with the Great Highland Bagpipe and Scottish-style drumming. Our goal is to develop and encourage local talent in a supportive environment that welcomes all participants who wish to contribute,  regardless of age, gender, or background.

Utah Pipe Band

Based in Salt Lake City, The Utah Pipe Band is a group of musicians celebrating Scottish heritage by playing the great Highland bagpipes and drums. We proudly represent Utah as we perform and compete both in and beyond the state. Founded in 1937 by Scottish immigrants, The UPB is the longest-continuously organized pipe band in the Western United States.

Las Vegas Emerald Society Pipe Band

In 2013 Southern Nevada Police and Fire agency bagpipers and drummers realized they were playing the same events. So they decided to join under a unified Emerald Society banner. The vision of the Las Vegas Emerald Society is to continually support First Responder agencies for Memorial and funeral services.

Upland High School Pipe Band

The Upland High School Pipe Band is a renowned musical ensemble known for its exceptional bagpipe and drum performances. With a rich tradition of Scottish music and culture, this talented group of students showcases their skills at various events, adding a touch of Scottish heritage to their community's celebrations. Their precision, dedication, and passion for piping and drumming make them a standout presence in the world of high school bands.
