2025 Bands
Grade 3 Pipe Bands
Kevin R. Blandford Memorial Pipe Band
Established in 1974, the Blandford Bands is a Bagpipe and Drum band located in the Inland Empire area of California, for 50 years and counting.
Phoenix Pipe Band
Founded in 1958, the Phoenix Pipe Band stands as a symbol of tradition, excellence, and musical artistry. With a rich history rooted in the time-honored tradition of Scottish bagpiping and drumming, the band has evolved into a dynamic and accomplished musical ensemble. The Band supports both an entry-level grade 5 band and our top-tier competition band in grade 3, attracting members across the Western United States and Canada to join the ranks.
Queen City Pipe Band
Queen City Pipe Band was formed in 2011 and is based in Denver, CO. Competing at Grade 3 level in the Western US, we promote Scottish musical heritage.
Grade 4 Pipe Bands
Long Beach Pipe Band
The Long Beach Pipe Band is a competitive bagpipe band, based in Long Beach, CA. The band competes throughout the year in the Western United States. The band wears the Prince Charles Edward Stuart tartan. We practice on Sunday Afternoon's at 2pm at Calvary Chapel Signal Hill, Signal Hill CA.
Saskatoon Police Pipes and Drums
The Saskatoon Police Service Pipes & Drums was formed in the 1960s, and its first pipe major was Hugh Fraser, Sr. Saskatoon Police Pipe Band is a competition grade 4 band, competing and performing across Canada and the United States at various events and Highland games. Most recently, the band attended the Pleasanton Highland Games in California (2023) where they won Best Grade 4 Drum Section. In Saskatchewan, the band has been awarded grade 4 Saskatchewan Champion in 2022 and 2023.
Utah Pipe Band
Based in Salt Lake City, The Utah Pipe Band is a group of musicians celebrating Scottish heritage by playing the great Highland bagpipes and drums. We proudly represent Utah as we perform and compete both in and beyond the state. Founded in 1937 by Scottish immigrants, The UPB is the longest-continuously organized pipe band in the Western United States.
Wasatch & District Pipe Band
Established in 2004, WDPB is a competitive and performing Bagpipe Band based out of Bountiful, Utah. Wearing the MacTavish tartan, our band performs all over Northern Utah, and competes in the Western US, Canada, the United Kingdom, and as attended the World Pipe Band Championships held in Glasgow Scotland.
Grade 5 Pipe Bands
Glendale Pipes & Drums
Glendale Pipes and Drums was founded in 2002 and is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Based in Arizona, we promote Highland Music and have performed at many venues from San Diego to Scotland.
