March's selection, In the Lonely Hours by Shannon Morgan, is a bewitchingly thrilling ghost story set in the strangely austere beauty of centuries-old Maundrell Castle, perched on a small, isolated island in northwest Scotland, surrounded by blood-red Loch na Scáthanna (Lake of Shadows) and haunted by a multitude of ghosts. Now, the castle’s new owner must confront its tragic and terrifying history while chasing the mystery of the Maundrell Red, a priceless gemstone that disappeared decades earlier.
